Why was my PayPal payment declined?

Why is my PayPal payment status still in pending?
Payment made by an e-Check can take some days to clear in PayPal. If the status will still be pending, we are going to hold the order and send it when everything is clear.
If I already made a payment, why is the status order “unpaid”?

The maximum order value for a Cash on Delivery (C-o-D) payment is 1000 EUR. This restriction applies strictly to a cash-only payment method.
